The Kiwanis Club of Carmichael Foundation was pleased to continue the Community Impact Grant program totaling $20,000 for 2026. Grant recipients for 2026 will be announced shortly. Grants were awarded in amounts of $2,500, $5,000, or $7,500, not to exceed $20,000 in total grants. Community fundraising events—such as the Club’s annual Crab Feed, Taste of Carmichael, Big Day of Giving, and our pancake breakfasts at Easter and 4th of July—make this program possible. This program will continue in 2027. Details to follow.
These special grants are available to nonprofits, schools, and charitable organizations serving the needs of the greater Carmichael area within Sacramento County.

2025 Impact Grant Recipients
The Aerospace Museum of California was selected for a $7500 grant for developing an interactive exhibit called the Mobile Drone Zone. This exhibit allows youth to fly a drone in a specially designed cage and learn about the dynamics of flight.
Will Rogers Middle School was selected for a $5000 grant for the development of a College and Career Center on campus to help inform students and families at this critical stage of their education about the many options and resources in planning for future careers and educational opportunities.
Arden Middle School was selected for a $2500 grant to allow them to continue offering a very innovative program called the School-Wide Novel which encourages students, teachers, and families to share in the reading of a selected novel. This project not only encourages reading but infuses excitement in school and with families in sharing a reading experience together.
