The Kiwanis Club of Carmichael is a welcoming, community-driven organization dedicated to serving children and families in the Carmichael area. With nearly 100 members from all walks of life, we come together to make a meaningful impact through hands-on service and heartfelt connection.
Our Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity. As a club we have proudly partnered with local organizations such as San Juan Unified School District, Carmichael and Mission Oaks Park Districts, SMUD, Carmichael Chamber of Commerce, local governmental agencies and organizations, and many others to extend our reach and deepen our support for the community.
We offer more than 40 service programs and projects each year. Whether you are ready to lend a hand or simply want to make a difference and donate, there is a place for you here. The Kiwanis Club of Carmichael recently donated $500 to Beaver Cares, the food pantry program at American River College. Beaver Cares serves up to 300 students a day who face food insecurity while trying to improve their lives through higher education. This Saturday is the June public open day at the Koobs Nature Area, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael. The theme is Kick Off to Summer with fun, free, family activities in the great outdoors. Join us for insect observation, bubble blowing, leaf art, story time, and summer “dad jokes”. We’ll be open from 10am-2pm.

Last Wednesday, the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael’s meeting was taken over by the outgoing and incoming presidents and treasurer of the American River College Circle K. Circle K is the college equivalent of Kiwanis, a community service club dedicated to projects that help children. They did a great job taking over our meeting, but even more impressive was the number of service projects and events they did over the past year while also taking their college classes.
