Kiwanis Club of Carmichael: Serving Children and Families Since 1962

The Kiwanis Club of Carmichael is a welcoming, community-driven organization dedicated to serving children and families in the Carmichael area. With nearly 100 members from all walks of life, we come together to make a meaningful impact through hands-on service and heartfelt connection.

Our Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity. As a club we have proudly partnered with local organizations such as San Juan Unified School District, Carmichael and Mission Oaks Park Districts, SMUD, Carmichael Chamber of Commerce, local governmental agencies and organizations, and many others to extend our reach and deepen our support for the community.

We offer more than 40 service programs and projects each year. Whether you are ready to lend a hand or simply want to make a difference and donate, there is a place for you here. Join us to build friendships with like-minded people of the community and help create a brighter future for the children of Carmichael.

Members of the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael volunteer every year at History Day at Sac State. We work the reception and welcome table. All the kids check in and receive their program packet and directions for the day.

Each student or student team has a project display based on their own historical research. They are interviewed by a set of judges, and judges select award recipients.

One of the reasons our Kiwanis Club of Carmichael crab feed runs so smoothly every year is our hardworking crew of teens who prep the meal and serve the tables. This year we had culinary students from San Juan High School working in the kitchen, and the servers were from Girl Scouts Troop 3191, the El Camino High School Key Club, and Jesuit Key Club. We also had Boy Scouts in the back sorting compostable trash to make the event more environmentally conscious. The tips at the end of the evening get shared amongst the teen groups to help their different programs and projects. See MoreSee Less
